DESCRIPTION:Trees of Life is a time-honored annual community tradition which remembers those we love through the purchase of a light, an ornament or a starburst during the winter holiday season.\nIn its 40th year, the event culminates with an outdoor tree-lighting ceremony at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, where loved ones names are read in remembrance.\nTribute is also paid to our military and first responders by illuminating a special red, white, and blue tree in their honor. Hundreds of people attend regardless of the weather.\nMusic and complimentary refreshments also add to the spirit.\nTrees of Life is free to attend. \n
